Do you know 10 PERSONAL things about each of your clients?

Do you speak with your clients about NON-business stuff?

If not, why not? I mean we’re all human…

You may be struggling to think of what to speak about but here are some EASY small talk topic’s to start with:

1) Personal interests – sports/ music/ art – bring up something you noticed on their profile/s

2) Goals – where do they want to be in the future? Share yours as well

3) Future travel / Staycations – where would you love to go?

4) Past memories of events – relate it back to a topic they discuss – ‘that really resonated with me…’

From this, you can start to build out a REAL relationship with the client and INCREASE your chances of working with them in the future.

Family talk Holiday/s 

Favourite poison/ wine 

Previous living locations 

Sports they do

Music they like/ Festivals

Future aspirations 

Favourite food/s 

… 

…

I’ll leave you lot to think of another two 

Remember you don’t need to get these all at once. Take your time and cherish the relationships your building with your clients.
